- To operate the plant safely and efficiently during his shift.
- To participate in the plant daily morning meeting giving input regarding plant operational needs.
- To issue and cancel work permits in the capacity of Senior Authorized Person.
- To be responsible to carry out the required isolation/de-Isolation in the process.
- To coordinate with the Operations Manager, and other departments of this plant.
- To keep the Ops. Manger or his designee informed of any unusual incident.
- To generate report such as generation reports, incident, accident
- To make periodic rounds of power plant observing conditions, note abnormal conditions and take corrective actions.
- To coordinate with WAPDA and SNGPL for load management and gas supply requirements respectively in accordance with operating procedures and as required under O&M contract
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions percentages area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry.
