As responsible business leaders, it is not enough to intend to do things right, we must also do them in the right way. That means making business decisions and taking appropriate actions that are ethical and in compliance with applicable legal requirements.

As we make these decisions, Etimaad's values must shine through in all our interactions. The Business Conduct Policy is an extension of Etimaad's values and reflects our continued commitment to ethical business practices and regulatory compliance.

By following the Etimaad Business Conduct guidelines, we are acknowledging our individual and collective responsibilities to manage our business activities with integrity as we pursue our mission of enabling people and businesses throughout the world to realize their full potential.

Ethical Business Practices

Each day we interact with a variety of individuals and groups including our customers, partners, competitors, co-workers, shareholders, vendors, government and regulatory agencies, and the communities in which we operate. We are committed to interacting with all of these audiences in a respectful, and in an ethical manner. Etimaad’s Business Conduct Policy provides the following guidelines on ethical business practices to all employees:

  • Perform your duties with honesty, integrity and to the best of your ability. Do not allow anyone to be misled.
  • Communicate openly and honestly, and demonstrate a sense of purpose and a commitment to achieving the best result, even under difficult circumstances.
  • Treat people with fairness, courtesy and sensitivity with regard to their rights. Have respect for diversity.
  • Accept responsibility for your actions and decisions.
  • Behave in a way which is above reproach.
  • Comply with all the rules, procedures and regulations that apply to Etimaad, its systems and the way Etimaad conducts its business.
  • Use information obtained from Etimaad only for the purpose for which it is intended.
  • Treat the assets and property of Etimaad, its employees, its customers and its suppliers with the same respect as your personal property. Do not waste Etimaad's resources or time.
  • Share and declare any information you may have about a personal or corporate conflict of interests. All declarations about such conflicts or potential conflicts must be made in writing.
  • Refuse any gift that could be regarded as an attempt to exert undue influence over you.
  • Challenge others if they are acting in an unethical way, report behavior that is in conflict with this code and do not tolerate any form of retribution against those who speak up.

Ethical Business Conduct Behaviors

We, at Etimaad Engineering Private Limited, recognize that all business activities are based on earning the trust and understanding of society and clients. To ensure that our business activities confirm to social standards, we fully comply with all applicable domestic and international laws and regulations as well as our own rules and policies, and conduct business activities in accordance with the following principles.

  • Do business with a high degree of transparency, free competition and fairness in order to earn the trust and understanding of society and clients concerning our corporate activities.
  • Earn the trust of clients by constantly improving quality in our products and services in order to supply useful facilities and services.
  • Maintain strong lines of communication not only with shareholders and other stakeholders but also with society at large, and to disclose corporate information willingly and fairly.
  • Recognize that helping to solve environmental issues is an essential part of our business activities as an engineering company.
  • Contribute in the development of a healthy society through various Corporate Social Responsibility programs while cooperating with government and their agencies.
  • Reject all business deals with anti-social organization which do not comply with good corporate governance, and shall never offer these organizations any benefits.
  • Establish a fair and legitimate relationship with our suppliers and vendors adhering to the highest standards of ethical behavior and regulatory compliance while maintaining flexibility and cost effectiveness.
  • Handle company and customer information with utmost care and attention and use company’s intellectual property in an appropriate manner without infringing on the owner’s intellectual property rights.
  • Draw a line between official company activities and private activities, and never take any action that would be detrimental to the company.
  • Respect the individuality of employees and endeavor to ensure employee’s health and safety by providing a suitable working environment.
  • Management shall recognize that implementing the spirit of this code is their responsibility, and shall make related parties aware of this code by setting an example through their leadership.
  • Management shall also heed the voice of stakeholders, both internally and externally, and strive to establish an effective framework for implementing these principles.
